Broadgate Farm is situated on the edge of The Bowland Area, we are surrounded by panoramic views of the local hills and fells, to the south we have Beacon Fell, then the hills surrounding us are Parlick, Fairsnape, and Hazelhurst. From the front bedroom windows of the farmhouse we can also see Geoffrey Hill, Preston and on clear days the Welsh hills in the distance.  Broadgate consists of generally farm land which is criss-crossed with stone walls and footpaths.

The hill situated immediately to the south of Broadgate Farm is Beacon Fell which has open aspects to all the local areas from the many walks available some of which are suitable for a ‘Tramper’. It is also within easy walking distance from Broadgate Farm.

In addition to our immediate surroundings Broadgate Farm makes a great central base for visiting the popular nearby tourist destinations of Blackpool, Morecombe Bay, Southport and the Lake District.
